This notice is being provided as a result of the anticipated filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification (ETA Form 9089). The employer intends to permanently employ a foreign national in the job opportunity described below.

Any person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer of the U.S. Department of Labor. POSITION TITLEBuild/Release Engineer

POSITION DUTIES:
The applicant will:

  1. Automate build process with continuous integration tools like maven, hudson, jenkins.
  2. Manage multiple version control systems like GIT, SVN and maintain release branches and promoting code to master branch. Along with it maintain code tagging, branching, and merging. Manage multiple release streams within the source code management tool.
  3. Develop and execute scripts and automate processes where possible to improve efficiencies and accuracy of the software build, integration, release, and deployment processes.
  4. Develop maven scripts to automate the build process and also install JFROG artifactory and use it as a private repository manager.
  5. Create or modify jobs in jenkins when a build script is changed or modified by the project team. Comply and create the packages in Jenkins and push it to target environments of UNIX, Windows, and LINUX platforms.
  6. Develop scripts for deployment automation solutions using continues deployment tools like ansible.
  7. Manage docker orchestration and docker containerization using kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling and management of docker containers.
  8. Work on setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as kubernetes with docker to assist with auto-scaling, continuous integration, rolling updates with no downtime.
  9. Administrate jfrog artifactory to upload artifacts and to maintain the central production artifactory without and duplicates artifacts.
  10. Administer and configure the code security tools like sonar-qube and fortify for applications in-order to avoid security vulnerability.

Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Technologies – Information Assurance, Information Technology or Engineering plus completed college coursework in data communications and networking; data management; analysis, modeling and design; web and data security; planning for information security; project and change management. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Must be willing to work at unanticipated worksite locations.

RATE OF PAY : $83,346.00 per year (the employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the US Dept. of Labor)
